Superb Book!
Revisado: 10-23-23
I've always been a Will Smith fan, & this book only made me a bigger fan. His honesty, with himself, is such a great thing to read. He was really open about many of the mistakes he's made throughout life, & how he's working on himself. Obviously, he's still a work in progress, as we all are, but I enjoyed this book, very much so. It's easily one of my favorites, yet. Highly recommend!!

Historia
Can’t Hurt Me, David Goggins’ smash hit memoir, demonstrated how much untapped ability we all have but was merely an introduction to the power of the mind. In Never Finished, Goggins takes you inside his Mental Lab, where he developed the philosophy, psychology, and strategies that enabled him to learn that what he thought was his limit was only his beginning and that the quest for greatness is unending.

This book is absolutely stellar! Very inspirational, & has opened my eyes to look beyond what ever "limit" we allow ourselves to fail from. David Goggins has inspired me to be a better person, honestly. Salute, to David Goggins!

Historia
He wasn’t known to mainstream audiences, even though he worked with renowned acts like D’Angelo and Erykah Badu and influenced the music of superstars like Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. He died at the age of 32, and in his lifetime he never had a pop hit. Yet since his death, J Dilla has become a demigod: revered by jazz musicians and rap icons from Robert Glasper to Kendrick Lamar; memorialized in symphonies and taught at universities.

Historia
Prince was a musical genius, one of the most beloved, accomplished, and acclaimed musicians of our time. The Beautiful Ones is the story of how Prince became Prince - a first-person account of a kid absorbing the world around him and then creating a persona, an artistic vision, and a life, before the hits and fame that would come to define him. This work is not just a tribute to an icon, but an original and energizing literary work in its own right, full of Prince’s ideas and vision, his voice and image - his undying gift to the world.

If Only....
Revisado: 12-11-22
If only Prince had written more, before his passing, this would have really been enjoyable. It was still a nice book, nonetheless.
