Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Great narration and story!
Revisado: 07-02-24
I’m not a sci fi fan and I really enjoyed this. The science was interesting and I loved trying to keep up with understanding it at least enough to be able to explain the big plot to anyone who asked. lol. The story has much heart and is overall very uplifting , and outside of a handful of bad language and one sex discussion scene (not the act itself) is something I listened to with my young teen on a road trip. So nice to not have to wonder what gruesome or inappropriate thing was coming next. Definitely PG but not more than that. Well done and thanks to an amazing writer!

There are much much better books in this genre lol
Revisado: 04-09-24
If you are a fan or Clear, Singer, Tolle, or Dyer and have read their work....just don't do this. Just don't. This has the vibe of a unedited college term paper that was turned into a book. It's written by someone without much life experience. It's not exactly bad information. You can tell it's meaningful to the author and he gathered much of it by the leaders in the genre. It's just not a well written summary of any of that info. If I had used a credit, I could have been given a refund. There's a lesson in that. It's also awkward that the author whisper reads this book the entire time. He whispers!! It's maddening!

Ok story. Lacking warmth of MC Beaton. Narrator gets all the characters right except Hamish and the American.
Revisado: 02-28-24
The narrator is talented! Many of the voices were terrific such as Blaire. But I’m not sure he knows Hamish. The “cool” factor is missing from him now and he sounds to be rather geriatric. The personality of the American was completely missing and forced. Sure hope these improve. The story was decent but not clever and fun. Just done. Overall average. I’m still thankful the characters are continuing, though, because I’d miss them very much if the series ended.

Wonderful work
Revisado: 07-17-23
If you know Michael Singer and his work, you will love this. If this is your first by him, I’d listen to untethered soul first (wonderful narration) so you have a basis of appreciation and understanding. I had to work to stay with this at first because he sounds so harsh in lesson one like he’s impatient and irritated with you. Lol. But I stayed with it and found subsequent lessons, while definitely still his personality, are top notch and what I expected. So glad he turned these lessons into a book.

I’ve listened twice so far and keep learning more and more. Great book and excellent narrator. So easy to digest the information because he reads at the perfect speed and tone.

And yet, sometimes it feels like she’s invisible. All of that changes when a book of fairy tales arrives on her doorstep. Inside, Martha finds a dedication written by her best friend—her grandmother Zelda—who died under mysterious circumstances years ago. Great narrator, depressing unlikable characters
Revisado: 08-14-20
I tried to like this story. I gave it 3 out of 10 hours hours of listening before coming to a conclusion because I enjoyed the narrator. But it's a vibe lowering story of abuse and meek characters. Totally ruined my mood every time I listened to it. Too bad because I can tell the writer is talented. Returned it.

What did you love best about Cherringham - A Cosy Crime Series Compilation (Cherringham 1 - 3)?
I can't get over how good these stories are. The narrator is wonderful, the stories all very interesting, and there's no gore or bad language. Perfect for me. Thank you to the authors for filling a wonderful niche. I love that I can listen even in the evening without wondering what awful thing might be coming. Keep these great stories coming!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No extreme emotions here which is why I like them. They are interesting plots but relaxing all at the same time. Perfect for the cozy genre lover.
Any additional comments?
I know that these stories will be ones that I can go back and listen to in a year or two when the details have left my brain and still totally enjoy all over again.
