Okay read, but not her best!
Revisado: 09-24-12
What made the experience of listening to Catch Me the most enjoyable?
I love the way that Lisa Gardner brings relationships into her novels. I'm always interested in the solving of the crime, but I'm also interested in the characters themselves.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The most interesting part of the story was the beginning when the character of the mother was defined and the relationship she had with her children. The least interesting was wa relationship between the two sisters.
What does Kirsten Potter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The narrator brings a clarity of character to the people that wouldn't be there if the story was just read to oneself. She makes each character a distinct and real.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
no.

Good story!
Revisado: 09-10-12
What did you like best about Gone? What did you like least?
I really like the narrator. She has a way of making the voices and characters come alive for me. I didn't like the developement of the main character as well in this book. It was probably just my taste but I wanted her to be stronger and less "messed up."
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
N/A
Which scene was your favorite?
The ending because you got a sense of a new beginning in the works. It wasn't like everything was suddenly okay, but yet it was like reality where people have to work at fixing their problems with a little sunshine on the horizon.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Yes

Loved it!
Revisado: 08-13-12
Would you listen to The Next Accident again? Why?
I have listened to the book 3 times already and have loved it every time. Each time I find another level of the story and enjoy it even more.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved the way the story plot twisted and turned so that you were on the edge of your seat. I also loved the character development and interraction.
Have you listened to any of Kate Burton’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I've not listened to any other Kate Burton's performances before but will look for them in the future.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I thought the scenes when the main chacter realized that his family and loved ones were the ultimate target of the murderer were especially poignant.
Any additional comments?
This book and presentation is extremely well done. I would recomment it to anyone.

Interesting!
Revisado: 07-09-12
What did you like best about Raintree? What did you like least?
I liked the fact that it was different and innovative. I have never read a book like this with this kind of a story line before. Usually anything with a supernatural or science fiction theme is somewhat predictable. This one wasn't. I didn't like the fact that it ended so abruptly. I'm assuming that there is or will be a sequel and the author wants to leave the reader in suspense so that the he/she will continue on with the series. However, this was too much of a cliff hanger. I didn't feel that a lot of the loose ends were tied up enough to make the book understandable. I felt somewhat robbed of an ending.
Would you recommend Raintree to your friends? Why or why not?
I would recommend Raintree to my friends but not whole heartedly. I would tell them that it's a good read but will not keep them on the edge of their chairs with either interest or suspense.
Which scene was your favorite?
I liked the scenes where Emma apopeared and called Raintree "Daddy." I thought that was an interesting part of the story.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
No, probably not. I would watch it if it came on tv, though.

Don't waste your time and money!
Revisado: 06-07-12
Would you try another book from the author and/or the narrator?
NO. The writer didn't develope a good plot and The narrator was too "sing songy."
Would you ever listen to anything by the author again?
No, the story was just fluff and not substance.
What didn’t you like about the narrator’s performance?
The narrator's voice was too "sing Songy" and too little girlish.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
No
Any additional comments?
There is an old saying that "if you suffer, you can do good art." I should be able to do good art now. In fact I should have take Van Gogh's idea and cut off my ear - both of them!

And if their secret is discovered by the priests of the Brotherhood, it would mean an asylum, a prison ship - or an early grave.
