Shallow

Total
1 out of 5 stars

Revisado: 01-26-09

Confused thoughts of a 14 year old, told through the wiser (older) author. It falls short of the mark in many ways, from the shallowness of the characters (very one dimensional), to the cheap imagery which is meant to be sensual and comes out looking cheap. The worst shortcoming: It leaves you wondering what motivated any and all her characters to behave the way they did!

Scott Hahn has the ability to make a really complicated theological issue seem clear and easy to understand. I was, however, disappointed he was not the narrator on this book. Those of us who have seen and heard him know how much more he adds to the deliverance of the message.

I was less than pleased with the Narration of this audiobook. The narrator seemed to be making fun of what he was reading. The material is great, the analysis and presentation were wonderful. I only wish David Limbaugh had read it himself!

What a gutsy person! Ann courageously stands up to the left, and shouts those unspoken truths to their faces. And the worst replies she gets is the whines and tears from surprised liberals who can’t imagine why anyone would target poor grieving (and EXTREMELY RICH) widows! I am still waiting to hear what they say when they read what she wrote on the public school system (indoctrination of our children into the state religion), the teachers (their lies about not being paid enough when they make more money than most other professions, which we should understand, considering the ridiculous college courses they have to take), and the Darwin Theory of evolution (refuted time and time again, but yet, our kids are fed in schools it is *THE ONLY* explanation of why we are here)...but I won't hold my breath.
