Different with good Plot and Narration

I am picky when it comes to narration and James did a very good job.
The characters had personality and we were able to get to know them.
Good enough to keep me coming back for more. I will be buying the next books.
Hope Joe gets his too. ......

Different but..

I did listen to each story and really wanted to love this because of all the supernatural elements.
It was a great premise with werewolves, vampires, zombies and aliens but something i guess just got lost in the sauce.
I enjoyed each character's developments or trials and tribulations but was left shaking my head too many times to count.
Overall, over 40 hours was a great deal, and it was definitely entertaining.

Thorough Plot and Back Stories made this Enjoyable

Covert Ops, Action and Zombie like creatures!
Well executed plot with characters that are likable. I will buy the next book in the series.
Different and entertaining to keep me coming back. The narrative was good with characters well preformed.

New and Interesting...

Supernatural FBI division! I enjoyed this prequel and will read the first book in the series.
Hoping to get more of the main characters backstory.
Great job as always to Ray Porter. IF you like Joe Ledger you should check out.

Different story line for zombies...

It is rare to find a different type of zombie plot and good likable characters with development. Overall it was entertaining and I enjoyed the story line. The main character reminded me of one of my favorites "Mountain Man" Gus.
With a good narrator, overall it was a pretty good listen throughout. Since i have been struggling to find something lately that is saying something. Not sure if I will continue the series but will keep it on my list of possibilities.

Completely Different then Expected but....

First I want to say I really like Blackmore (the Mountain Man series is one of my favorites) and love RC Bray.
Unfortunately I was disappointed by this one. Even though the story was completely different and unique it didn't seem to go anywhere but in circles. Love the concept but didn't care for the story line and the ending left me ultimately dissatisfied....
