Awful narration

Still trying to listen to the actual book, but the narration is so annoying that it's hard! The content is only okay, but I kind of expected that. How these useless narrators get through the Audible selection process is a mystery to me. C'mon guys, it's not that hard to get someone normal and competent!

Poor narration, mediocre content

This was a short book, and it really only covered completely conventional retirement planning, using IRAs and 401k plans and so on.
The worst part though was the narration. Poor enunciation, mispronunciation, and weird, halting pauses in the middle of phrases made this an unpleasant and frustrating listen. I'm all for ethnic diversity and varied origins and accents among narrators, but they have to still speak English properly, and be able to narrate with appropriate pacing and tone.

And therefore quite frustrating. Now that I have finished this audiobook, I realize it is just meant to be a teaser for Caro's major works. Wouldn't have bought it had I known.
