Awful narrative

I’ve read all the books in this series and love them! So when I saw it was on audio, I bought it!! And wish I hadn’t. The narrators for this were awful. The male voice was to old sounding for Reign and his female impersonation was dreadful. The female voice was irritating, she sounded very valley and like she was running while reading. This is a great book, if you haven’t read it I highly recommend it! But read it and the series before listening.

I love this book, but I hated the narrator.

The narrator for this book made all the female voices sound like the cast from clueless and Harper is written as a strong female but the narrators made her sound very valley girl and whinny. I almost returned the book for that alone. Every characters voice even the males was said with to much animation. Will not listen to the next book if narrative is done by her. I have read these books and would have loved to listen to them all except for Cat Doucette ruined it for me. If you have not read this book I recommend it highly it’s fantastic just don’t listen to it first.

Tempting Tristan was a 4 star read that was sweet, hot with no angsts or drama.

I really enjoyed this book. I gave the performance a 3 star rating simply because the narrators were very monotone. They both had very nice voices, but you could hear that they were reading. Their voices did not show emotion and that really sucks for the author because there were a lot of feelings in this book. So I believe I would have enjoyed this book more if I would have read it instead of listened. But the story was great!
