Historia
While he was the curator of the CIA Museum, Nicholas Reynolds, a longtime military intelligence expert, began to discover tantalizing clues that suggested Ernest Hemingway's involvement in the Second World War was much more complex and dangerous than has been previously understood. Writer, Sailor, Soldier, Spy brings to light for the first time this riveting secret side of Hemingway's life - when he worked closely with both the American OSS and the Soviet NKVD to defeat Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.

Hemingway was much more complicated than I expected. The political world will never care about anyone but their own goals. The far right, the far left don’t care about anyone. In the end I am so sorry that the treatment for mental illness only caused him even more complications.

Historia
Mackenzie Allen Phillips' youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation, and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later, in this midst of his great sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack one wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change his life forever.

Historia
Dalee didn't grow up in a religious family. In fact, the last time Kerri went to church, she only attended for the cool door prizes and food served at Vacation Bible School. But when her wealthy roommate, Stephanie, gets engaged, Kerri's finds that her only hope for financial survival is an editing job at a Dallas area mega-church. While waiting for her interview, Kerri makes a quick, desperate decision to meet Christ - in the ladies' room, of all places - so she can fulfill every aspect of the stated criteria for employment.

I was delighted to listen to this book
Revisado: 10-19-20
After each chapter I was ready to hear the next. I was disappointed when the book came to an end. This book reflects our beginning journey with Jesus so well. We each have a different story, a different encounter. We are not all the same, neither is our starting relationship with Jesus.
