Historia
Get Your Hopes Up is a podcast by Christy Wright where she invites you to get to know God, get closer to Him, and get your hopes up again. The truth is life can get you down. Between setbacks and heartbreaks, discouragement creeps in, and we stop letting ourselves hope for more. We say things like, "I'll believe it when I see it" and "Don't get your hopes up." But Romans 15:13 says, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." That’s exactly what this show is about. Christy is a #1 ...

Historia
There are four characters in every story: the victim, the villain, the hero, and the guide. These four characters live inside us. If we play the victim, we’re doomed to fail. If we play the villain, we will not create genuine bonds. But if we play the hero or guide, our lives will flourish. The hard part is being self-aware enough to know which character we are playing. In this book, Donald will use his own experiences to help you recognize if the character you are currently surfacing is helping you experience a life of meaning.

I love Donald Miller and all the work he does.
he takes already simple concepts and breaks it down into actionable steps. I always read (or listen to) his books and have a new perspective on things i didnt think could have a new perspective and a plan to hit the ground running. love it!

Historia
In Dad is Fat, stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan, who’s best known for his legendary riffs on Hot Pockets, bacon, manatees, and McDonald's, expresses all the joys and horrors of life with five young children - everything from cousins ("celebrities for little kids") to toddlers’ communication skills ("they always sound like they have traveled by horseback for hours to deliver important news"), to the eating habits of four-year-olds ("there is no difference between a four-year-old eating a taco and throwing a taco on the floor").

I enjoyed listening to this book. I got though it in one day, and was it easy to listen to while I worked. Im glad I work at home, alone, becuase I kept laughing out loud and could not have listened to this in a traditional office setting. I also font have kids but still really enjoyed it.
