Interesting listen, if you're Theranos obsessed!

Really loved the narrator's POV and he does a great job of telling his story. You can tell he's wanted to for a while now.
The funniest and saddest part for me was the he comes from a BREATHTAKINGLY privileged family and only seems to admit (come to ?) that conclusion in the last 40minutes.
As much as it's not a commentary on how wealth in America affords the ability to affect the justice system ... it's most definitely a commentary on how wealth affects the justice system.

Unexpected and interesting!

I came for the Quinto, I stayed for the story. Both were great. I would definitely keep reading/ listening to life as a dispatcher.

I'm so conflicted!

This made me so conflicted. On one hand, I loved the narration and story, Ms Garcia does an excellent job and comes across as authentic and charming. It is clear that she loved/still loves Prince.
On the other hand... I didn't realize that there was such an age disparity between them. The fact that she was groomed for YEARS before they were physically intimate or married churns my stomach. It's interesting that things that are sketchy are dismissed with a quick "I was mature for my age" or "That was Rock n Roll/We are artists" or the ever popular "Cynical people just can't understand and make something innocent seem dirty". Girl, you were groomed and your parents were complicit.
It actually made me respect him less.

I thought it would be boring

A 1hr (ish) monologue. I thought it would be boring and that the characters wouldn't have time to develop.
I ended up crying on my way to work. Carey Mulligan hit this out of the park.

Great Story!

This was such a great introduction to Michelle Moran! I made sure to download the first 2 books in the series. Moran made Selene as real as ever a character I've read. I really hope the first 2 books are as great as this one, I may have found a new author crush!

Came for Ray Porter, stayed for the plot/story!

I discovered Ray Porter in the Bobiverse books and enjoyed his narration so much I figured I'd give Patient Zero a chance. I really enjoyed the story and the characters. Some parts were expected but over all I'm excited to check out what this series offers and will get the next book.

Pretty good follow up to The Martian!

Definitely worth your time, others have said they felt the science aspect was forced but I didn't. I also think ight was a pretty good attempt writhing from the female perspective. LOVED Rosario Dawson as the narrator and will look for more audio books I'd she's done them. Definitely an author I plan on following.

I knew within the second hour that I would enjoy this story. The descriptions got a little heavy and lung winded at times but it was still so great. epic even.
