Historia
>When South African conservationist Lawrence Anthony was asked to accept a herd of "rogue" wild elephants on his Thula Thula game reserve in Zululand, his common sense told him to refuse. But he was the herd's last chance of survival: they would be killed if he wouldn't take them. In order to save their lives, Anthony took them in. In the years that followed he became a part of their family. And as he battled to create a bond with the elephants, he came to realize that they had a great deal to teach him about life, loyalty, and freedom.

Wow! I never knew, in all my life, that such reserves exist. Now that I do, of course, its amazing to hear him describe the bush—meaning dense forest—and the narrator perfects the book. When this first was recommended to me by a friend, I judged the book by its cover, and thought I would be turning it off after a while. I was wrong! I was driving my daughter from NC to TX, and it was a 16 hour drive. She and I both enjoyed listening to this during the car ride, laughing, growling, and sobbing along with the book. It was wonderful, and it had been long since I hear my daughter laugh. Definitely would recommend this, and tell them to ignore the name. Honestly, the title only half seems to fit the book. I know for a fact that my daughter is a cat whisperer, she explains to me everything that makes complete sense about them.(She is left handed however, so she may just know it, but I am her homeschool teacher.) ‘Elephant Whisperer’ half way, ‘The Elephants and I’ better. If your reading this far, Your credit WILL NOT be wasted!

Lewis Carroll was a minister in the Church of England and a Professor of Mathematics at Christ Church College. In his diary he described "An expedition up the river to Godstowe with the three Liddells", daughters of the college Dean, "on which occasion I told them the fairy tale of 'Alice's Adventures Underground', which I undertook to write out for Alice".

Ah, Classics.
Revisado: 11-12-20
There is nothing, what so ever, as satisfying as a good classic. Alice in Wonderland is a good rhyming book. Lewis Carroll might be one of my favorite authors. The narrator is a little boring, and I would of liked a better one, but you who is reading this, do not be discouraged. I wouldn’t waste time reading the rest of this anyways. Go listen! If you do persist reading my review, go on ahead.
I never really had appreciated the poetical nonsense and comical words of this book until I read it at an older age. I think they cut out a little of the book, which makes my match come awfully close to my angry wood, but I soon realized they just cut out the talking about the book and everything that was before the discovering of The White Rabbit. The new movie was excellent, and I think this book was based off the movie words, but I don’t know. Alice is such a curious little girl, with such curious little ideas, but is missing a little common sense. Some British people do have that missing piece, but some don’t. I used to pretend to be 2 people as well, but I didn’t go as far as boxing my ears. The chapters came quickly, and almost seemed to be in the sentence! Curiouser and curiouser. We all must remember a very important quote from the movie of this, though. “I’m not crazy, my reality is just different than yours.” - Cheshire Cat. If you haven’t heard it yet, but endured my review, GO GO GO! Have not a hesitation, but listen the the recitation, of Alice in Wonderland, and the Mad Hatter running through the ham, With the White Rabbit. As fast as can be, go to see, and visit the purchase button, and listen ro the talking mutton. ;)

MYSTERY
Revisado: 01-20-20
Recommended for EVERYBODY! I love Sherlock Holmes! Mysterious, wonder, mindblowning, Sherlock Holmes! Even though I am 12, the adult version never ceases to amaze me on how each mystery has their own thing that makes an implant in your brain. Suggested for a smart, create a mini movie while reading the book person. ☺️.

Historia
Sam Hill always saw the world through different eyes. Born with red pupils, he was called “Devil Boy” or Sam “Hell” by his classmates; “God’s will” is what his mother called his ocular albinism. Her words were of little comfort, but Sam persevered. Sam believed it was God who sent Ernie Cantwell, the only African American kid in his class, to be the friend he so desperately needed. And that it was God’s idea for Mickie Kennedy to storm into Our Lady of Mercy like a tornado, uprooting every rule Sam had been taught about boys and girls. Forty years later, Sam, a small-town eye doctor, is no longer certain anything was by design.

Surprised and my leaky waterworks flowed like waterfalls
Revisado: 01-18-20
This was a unexpected surprise! I am 12 by the way. I was wondering what this book could possibly inspire my mother, so I took it upon myself to listen to it. Lovely elegant story. He is an amateur Tom Sawyer. I cried and cried. Simple but beautiful is Sam Hell. His last name could BE the one thing that is related to him, but NOTHING like him. Am I right? Now, of course, there are probably a few of us here that could get over their hump of a hill about this book (and you can find them at the bottom review section) also suggested is Sherlock Holmes! Full of mystery, although I think it is not a book on Audible. Suggested still this great book, and plz ignore the bottom of this review sheet reviewers. They have a hill to cross. 😇
ENJOY THIS BOOK!! 😋

When Redwall was published in 1987 it catapulted author Brian Jacques to international stardom. And small wonder! This enthralling tale is jam-packed with the things we long for in a great adventure: danger, laughter, hairbreadth escapes, tragedy, mystery, a touch of wonder, a truly despicable villain, and a hero we can take to heart.

Some of you need to read more.
Revisado: 01-13-20
Most of you not engaging probably, hm? This is a great book for those who can absorb and be able to see what is happening in their brain. Some of you ignore beautiful writing. I am a book worm. Sherlock Holmes is my hobby book to read. Desperaux is a very brave mouse. Robin Hood never gets old. A wrinkle in time! Electronics are pulling away our imaginations. Ignore your phone! Engage books! We all know that the electronics are the public idols nowadays. I am only 12. But I have never ignored a book. A BOOK was how we learned our schooling. A BOOK is used by moms to cook meals. A BOOK is our BIBLE!!! Do any of you suggest that the Bible is to become a computer that we stare at and scroll down to read?? NO! That is not what the Bible is here for! The Bible is Gods instructions to us! If you are still reading with me, may I remind you that we are Gods children, who need Gods instructions, which are basically THE Bible. I repeat that I am 12, so other adults can give a better explanation. Thanks for reading my review.

Sweet Heidi
Revisado: 01-13-20
Johanna Spyri is such a descriptive person. I could imagine myself in the mountains with Heidi and the goat boy. Stuck in the house to be schooled. Watching the stars on soft straw. Suggestions? This book is FOR EVERYBODY. A boy might even enjoy this a little.

Historia
Ernest Hemingway said, “All modern American literature comes from one book by Mark Twain called Huckleberry Finn". One hundred years after its author’s death, this classic remains remarkably modern and poignantly relevant. In this new edition, Elijah Wood reads Huck in a youthful voice that may be the closest interpretation to Twain’s original intent. His performance captures the excitement and confusion of adolescence and adventure.

This is a great book
Revisado: 01-13-20
Huckleberry Finn is such a funny boy! This book is great for all ages, but they do use one bad word. Just for a hint, it is a rude word that basically means black/Indian person.
(No offense)
Elijah Wood also plays Huckleberry Finn in a movie based on this book. He is remarkable to listen to and watch him act! I think Elijah Wood is going to be a great audible reader or actor. Hope this helped or was good info!
