Historia
With each and every new novel, Dean Koontz raises the stakes—and the pulse rate—higher than any other author. Now, in what may be his most suspenseful and heartfelt novel ever, he brings us the story of an ordinary man whose extraordinary commitment to his wife will take him on a harrowing journey of adventure, sacrifice, and redemption to the mystery of love itself—and to a showdown with the darkness that would destroy it forever.

Checked out after 30 minutes.
Revisado: 08-08-22
I am a huge Koontz fan but this had me disinterested after 30 minutes. A combination of absolutely horrible narration and WAYYY to much technical jargon to setup the location, mission and character background.

Excellent story and Narration.
Revisado: 09-21-21
Exceptional characters, intriguing story and a top notch reading. King gives us one of his best stories yet and it's nothing like what we're used to. No ghosts, no scares, no blood and gore. Just an incredible character driven story that we leave you wanting more. Paul Sparks reading is as good as it gets. We get a different voice for every character and he goes at a very good pace.

Not Koontz's best.
Revisado: 06-01-21
While Steven Webber gives a fabulous reading, the story has too many elements of supernatural fantasy mixed with real life crime for my taste. I keep hoping to find a reading by Koontz on the same level of Intensity but have yet to find it. Again, Webber is outstanding and is the primary reason I listened to the end.
