Historia
When Tea accidentally resurrects her brother from the dead, she learns she is different from the other witches in her family. Her gift for necromancy means that she's a bone witch, a title that makes her feared and ostracized by her community. But Tea finds solace and guidance with an older, wiser bone witch, who takes Tea and her brother to another land for training.

It’s an interesting world
Revisado: 11-24-23
I personally am not a fan of plot armor, and the characters are mostly one dimensional. So far, there hasn’t been any earth shattering new constructs. There is room to grow, though, and the world and the rules of this world (hearts glass, bone witches, etc.) are strong enough independent traits to make me read on.

Historia
Responding to an urgent plea from a troubled family friend, the Earl of Wrexford journeys to Oxford only to find the reclusive university librarian has been murdered and a rare manuscript has gone missing. The only clue is that someone overheard an argument in which Wrexford's name was mentioned. At the same time, Charlotte—working under her pen name, A. J. Quill—must determine whether a laboratory fire was arson and if it's connected to the race between competing consortiums to build a new type of ship.

The weakest of the series
Revisado: 11-07-23
The story started off strong but the pacing was not good for the fourth act. That being said Charlotte’s character was not nearly as wimpy in this book as she was in the story when she first got married. She was essentially damseling all over the place in that one.

They claim they come in peace, and Lin will need their help in order to defeat the rebels and restore peace. But can she trust them?

Well balanced, tasteful series

Satisfying character arcs. Well paced. I actually listened to it twice because I enjoyed it so much.
