Stop everything and read this book!

This book has so many different layers. It is so rich with stories and sub themes that it is impossible to not be enthralled. The characters elevate this journey as they start with their own story and merge into a tale as wild as the horses that move us through each chapter.
The love story is beyond love- it elevates the the writing ( which needs no help). This kind of love makes a reader understand that the capacity to love is only as deep as one is true to themself. Beautiful!

Penelope built a captivating and unique story. Her characters are interesting and her writing brings you in to the story fully engaged.

I am sad to have this audible book end but look forward to more stories. Just loved this one!

Flat with no Chase

I love this series entire series an Nalini is amazing. I’m so I love with this world and characters. Still-some of the books really resonate with me and a few not so much. This one didn’t have the chase between the lovers. I understand it was a mating at first sight but their response to each other was too immediate. It was a good story but I found myself a bit uninvested. Somehow this missed the mark.

Well Done- wonderful ending!

I was really surprised how much I enjoyed this series even though it was lighter on the romance aspect. The world, story and character development kept me fully engaged. I loved and was interested in all the unique characters. I will really miss them!

Finally a narrater that does KA books justice!

I read this book along with many KA books- I was not happy with the narrators chosen for my favorites. Emma Taylor and Tillie Hooper's personalities and tone were not as sultry as I envisioned for the characters.
I love Abby's work. Saskia Maarleveld is also a favorite. I have picked books based on these narrators alone. Nicole Poole is another favorite.

This book was soooo much more enjoyable to hear because the narrator fit so well.

Oh how I wish the others had new versions!

Surprisingly Captivating with Great Characters

The cover and summary did not do this one justice! It kept me curious in the beginning and built a tension that eventually held me captive. The narrator was fantastic- I can't wait to read the next one!

So what if the book is good when the cost is High?

This is a good book. Good narration- but my stomach hurts each time I pay to finish it- I get satiated but pissed as I continue. I have so many good books that were in one download- and usually the cost was in the neighborhood of "worth it"

This is a poor value- and I am not sure I can stomach finishing.

Love this Series- Good but less Exciting

First of all let me say this is one of my favorite series- so by all means a good story. My personal taste is more towards friction and a slower build up to the characters falling in love - and in this story it happened a bit too quick for my preference.

The surrounding familiar characters and continued back story with Zach, Amy and Seth kept the pot brewing. Kristen Potter in my opinion makes the entire listen come to life- she is amazing!!

I just missed the struggle and interactions that blend suspense with the dance of two coming together- perhaps I wanted more of a tango and that is just unique to my taste. If you are similar- this one may seem a tad less exciting- but still a fun continuation of a great series.
