A Nice Break From A Romance Streak

I enjoyed the current day story, along with it’s tangents. I was startled to hear, “Pottstown, Pennsylvania,” which is my hometown and although it has a nice history for natives to hold onto, it is not one often used as plot points. I was raised by a narcissist mother. Many of the hints were picked up on before the confirmation was declared as a storyline. I know all too well how easy it is to allow the narcissist in one’s life to walk away in order to protect oneself and other family members; in my case, to protect my children. This rescue remedy is often a hard-learned lesson after walking on eggshells and suffering terribly at the hands of the narcissist. When I read other reviews, it was said to be ‘too serious’ and ‘boring.’ It was a nice break from the Romance streak I had been stuck on for a long time. There was just enough thrown in to not completely lose faith in romance all together. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.

The Manifesto Of The Decade For Women

I must honestly admit that Glennon’s previous books did not resonate with me. Despite this, my intuition insisted I must read Untamed. I was immediately hooked. I laughed, I cried and felt both admiration and appreciation for her sharing the magnificent tale of her family’s current structure. So many families would spare the adults and more importantly the children so much pain if they took lessons from Glennon, Abby and Craig. Paired with more beautiful stories of her own becoming, this is a must-read (must-listen) manifesto for all women. Our world is in desperate need of an evolution. I believe more untamed women at the helm may just nurture the necessary evolution of love in a beautiful march without being too threatening to the patriarchal society that has led us into dire despair. Glennon has a fabulous way of working examples and lessons for women to untame themselves and live their best lives into this masterpiece manifesto. All while letting readers know that despite what fear may arise, it will be ok. I am proud to claim myself an untamed cheetah since conception. Now 42, my entire life has been a challenge because most people fear my inability to tame myself down to a lower vibration in order for them to “handle” me. I have always simply apologized for their fear and allowed myself to carry on and remain true to who I am. No regrets because I always speak, do and act with pure love and honesty. I have 4 children; 2 girls and 2 boys. I have raised them to be true to themselves. I can also proudly admit they are all untamed cheetahs. My oldest daughter was just admitted for hospital bed rest to allow my second granddaughter hopefully 5 or 6 more weeks to grow. Untamed will be the first gift I give her since she has some time on her hands. I will be gifting this book all year long.

This may be the best book on manifestation in a full arena of manifestation books in 2019. Every sentence is a gem of knowledge, guidance and truth. We have to gift this book to our children and to everyone we know. Russ is as brilliant as he says he is.

Save A Seat For Me!

Listening to Tiffini tell her story from the very beginning gave me chills because my story also begins in utero. So many of us have been parented from generations of doing the best we can with what we know. Life is so short; why waste time trying to figure out who or what to blame? I share much in common with Tiffini. I was a bit leary with the book being classified as Christian Non-Fiction. I am not a Christian. I am spiritual. The unique way the story is told made it easy for me to replace Christian-based thought with my thoughts. Tiffini is taking small action steps to improve her life, despite the “dis-ease” That will hopefully begin to heal with her newly discovered . I look forward to Tiffini’s next book to see what happens at the table.

Honesty Appreciated

This book was a quick, easy listen. I wish everyone was so honest about their thoughts & feelings. Maybe then I would have more fans...and friends!

In a day where, "I want a divorce," is normal dinner conversation, it is nice to hear about a couple that decided to lay it all out on the table and make the often more challenging decision to stay together until...

The decisions we make in our personal lives are often made to fit the day-by-day normal trend most recently seen on social media or on tv. To 'hear' the self-chatter of the author's thoughts as she evaluates the pros & cons of each decision she makes, proves that she has the balls to be real.

Great Read for Motivation

I have read most of the books written by Realtors. This was a wonderfully different take on how to make the sale. I listened to the audiobook and it was so much fun! Fredrick had me laughing out loud in some places. To hear his philosophy of life and his long-term goals was heart-warming. My message in the bottle sits nicely among the other treasures in my life. Thank you, High Kicker!!
