I could not be more disappointed with this book. There was so much hype and for what? It went on and on and on and on some more. I am glad I was listening to it, if it were in print I would have put the book down a long time ago.

Frida does a great job giving you an entertaining book. This book is entertaining but at some points it is just absurd and I found myself cracking up. The characters are stupid, all of them. I wish she gave some of them more depth but oh well.

I am a big fan of Jodi and look forward to her books. I could not have been more disappointed by the Book of Two Ways (couldn’t even finish) and was super excited for a new book that was back to her normal style. Others have said this as well but I feel this book would have been more enjoyable in ten years. It was almost too soon to relive something we are still living. Maybe listening to this book in 20 years will be better. I wasn’t a fan of the main character, I personally thought she was a selfish brat but to each their own!

I am usually a fan of Reese’s book club but this book was just awful. Zero excitement, zero thrills, zero mystery and zero enjoyment. The characters are bland and boring, the plot was bland and boring. It took forever to work through this and it was a waste.

Another beautiful story from Kristen Hannah. She has such a way with story telling that I become invested in the characters and am sad when the book comes to an end.

I found this book to be extremely enjoyable. The development of the killer was written very well. I have found that murders taking place on chalets make for a great setting!

This book lacked all of the excitement it was trying to have. I kept hoping that something would happen and I would become super interested but I never had that moment. Jane didn’t do it for me, she kept changing her mind and truly didn’t understand her role in any part of her life. She swore a lot. Too much time was spent on her when characters like Blanch and B needed more time. The ending, meh. This whole book, meh.

Snooze fest. This is NOT the Jodi Picoult books I know and love. This was like sitting at a college course I was forced to take because nothing else was open. The main character is not enjoyable at all, she isn’t kind and mostly thinks of herself throughout the part I listened to.
I couldn’t finish, I tried but nope.
