I’m a high fantasy or urban paranormal person. I gave the first one a try and have been hooked ever since. These are so funny. Some of it is predictable, but there is plenty to keep you guessing. Cal gets annoying sometimes, but the team dynamics are great.

I’m not sure what the narrator was thinking, but this lady is supposed to be an adult. The inflection the narrator uses makes her sound like a petulant teenager. The story is lacking, but might be better if I read instead of listening this this terrible narration.

I was a little skeptical about this due to some of the reviews. I have to say this was actually decent. Some of the reviews go on about how she’s a scholar and should be doing things different. You have to understand that she had a paradigm shift and her entire world was rearranged. That’s going to make anyone think and act differently. Also, we didn’t have an in-depth look at her true personality before she went to another world. Don’t really think this was a romance, but it was still interesting.
