Historia
US Marshal Arliss Cutter is a born tracker. Raised in the swamplands of Florida, he honed his skills in the military, fought in the Middle East, and worked three field positions for Marshal Services. When it comes to tracking someone down - or taking someone out - Cutter's the best. But his newest assignment is taking him out of his comfort zone to southeast Alaska. Cold, dark, uninhabited forests that are often shrouded in fog. And it's the kind of case that makes his blood run cold.

Excellent Story

The story was fantastic. The characters were compelling and different. The narrator took away from some of the character interactions through a monotone delivery - but overall it was excellent.

DISAPPOINTING
Revisado: 04-26-18
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I am not sure - I am having trouble thinking of an appropriate audience for this book.
What was most disappointing about Mike Maden’s story?
The story was weak. The was none of the hallmark Clancy - no technical details, the thrill wasn't there. The author focused on sexual tension between Jack Ryan Jr and the female lead. Clancy books focus on the technical details and how they add to the thrill. This was by FAR the weakest Clancy book of all.
Have you listened to any of Scott Brick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Scott Brick is an amazing narrator - he was definitely the BEST part of this audio book.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Tom Clancy Point of Contact?
Add the technical details of what the characters are doing - the computers, the stock market, the guns, etc. Readers of these book aren't looking for a love story.
Any additional comments?
Poor first outing for an author trying to be part of the Clancy genre.
