Historia
Twenty-three-year-old Michael “Mitt” Fuller starts his surgical residency with great anticipation at the nearly three-hundred-year-old, iconic Bellevue Hospital, following in the footsteps of four previous, celebrated Fuller generations. The pressure is on for this newly minted doctor, and to his advantage he’s always had a secret sixth sense, a sensitivity to the nonphysical. But quickly one patient after another assigned to his care begin to die from mysterious causes.

Uncharacteristic Robin Cook
Revisado: 12-21-24
I read and enjoy Robin Cook books for their medical accuracy. So I was disappointed when this book took a Stephen King direction. Not my favorite.

Historia
An 11-year-old boy's violated corpse is found in a town park. Eyewitnesses and fingerprints point unmistakably to one of Flint City's most popular citizens. He is Terry Maitland, Little League coach, English teacher, husband, and father of two girls. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son Maitland once coached, orders a quick and very public arrest. Maitland has an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney soon add DNA evidence to go with the fingerprints and witnesses. Their case seems ironclad.

Weak supernatural storey line.
Revisado: 04-16-19
Although I enjoyed this book the supernatural angle was too far fetched for my liking. Narration was good but I found that the variation in volume between whispers and regular dialog made it hard to listen to when driving.

Historia
On the right side of the law. Sort of. Sebastian Rudd is not your typical street lawyer. He works out of a customized bulletproof van, complete with Wi-Fi, a bar, a small fridge, fine leather chairs, a hidden gun compartment, and a heavily armed driver. He has no firm, no partners, no associates, and only one employee: his driver, who's also his bodyguard, law clerk, confidant, and golf caddy.

Not one of Grisham's best.
Revisado: 01-06-16
This book seemed like it was just thrown together, very underwhelming. The narration was clear and enjoyable, but the story line was lacking the connection I've grown to expect from Grisham's main character.

Ok storyline, not one of Cook's best.
Revisado: 12-06-15
The narrator's performance of the slang dialogue in the book seemed a bit contrived, awkward, and artificial.
