Historia
Heartwarming, insightful, and often laugh-out-loud funny, A Dog's Purpose is not only the emotional and hilarious story of a dog's many lives, but also a dog's-eye commentary on human relationships and the unbreakable bonds between man and man's best friend. This moving and beautifully crafted story teaches us that love never dies, that our true friends are always with us, and that every creature on earth is born with a purpose.

You fall in love with the sweet Bailey and Buddy as soon as the story begins

Every dog owner that has ever lost a beloved pet will cry thru this movie... at least I DID! I knew I would but still had to read it. And I'll recommend it to others too!

Historia
Her name is Elise Freeman, and her chilling cry for help to whoever may be listening comes too late to save her. On a DVD found near her lifeless body, the emotionally and physically battered woman chronicles a year-and-a-half-long ordeal of monstrous abuse at the hands of three sadistic tormentors. But even more shocking than the lurid details is the revelation that the offenders, like their victim, are teachers at one of L.A.s most prestigious prep schools.

Great book, great listening
Revisado: 05-12-10
I thought the book was great. Det. Sturgis did play a bigger role than Dr. Delaware, but that wasn't a minus to me. The characters were interesting, and the narrator was great. I sometimes have trouble keeping the characters straight in audio books, but the narrator gave them all such distinctive voices, it was easy. Enjoyed it a lot!

Historia
Thanks to the financial security and material comforts provided by their father’s prosperous rickshaw business, 21-year-old Pearl Chin and her younger sister, May, are having the time of their lives. Though both sisters wave off authority and tradition, they couldn’t be more different, but both are beautiful, modern, and carefree...until the day their father tells them he has gambled away their wealth and that in order to repay his debts, he must sell the girls as wives to suitors who have traveled from California to find Chinese brides.

Loved the book, hated the lack of an ending
Revisado: 08-24-09
I loved the story, especially the historical aspects of it. When I came to the end, I thought I had neglected to download the final chapters. It is obviously a set up for a sequel, which I plan to purchase. I just wish I would have realized beforehand.
