What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The most interesting aspect of this story was the locale of the Silesian Folklore.
The least interesting was the 'floating head' which crossed the line from ghostly to ghastly.

Maybe take my grandchild to see the fantasy of time travel into the world of folklore.

While the storyline described a delusional daydream, the descriptive language was fascinating. It seemed that Sieglinde included all her longings, interests, insights and regrets into a fantasy story representing yearnings toward emotional fulfillment.

Intriguing storyline ....somewhat complicated premises...the past lends clues in solving the present day serial killings that Kluftinger and his colleagues must solve.

The Clock Is Ticking

Once again, Kiuftinger must use his powers of deduction and intuitive sense to deal with crime . This time, however, Klufti must put the pieces together before the crime even happens. His personal persona of the bumbling husband and the pampered only son, add to the intrigue that he, as the Kommissar, is as astute and respected in his profession. His inner thoughts lend an
amusing aspect to his character as he spars with his nemesis, Dr. Langhammer. The added comedy between the two make each listen a joy! Onward to the next adventure!

A Family Affair

While the dialect was sometimes difficult to understand, the narration added interesting personality development into each character. Murder in a castle with a mysterious family background is only the beginning. The plot encompasses the professional and personal life of Kluftinger, his Japanese in- laws -to -be staying as house guests the week before the wedding of his son to their daughter, Yumiko, and his exceptionally keen police work. Klufty and Yumiko's father lend humorous context to the story as the language barrier created hilarious predicaments. This story was thoroughly enjoyable, and sometimes required a second or third listen for sheer pleasure of reliving the visual imaging.

What made the experience of listening to Mrs. Pollifax Pursued the most enjoyable?

The narration is always superb with the accents of each character adding to the richness of the listening experience.

What did you like best about this story?

I lliked the addition of the character Kadi to the storyline.

The adventures of Mrs. Pollifax follow the tried and true storyline recipe after the initial introduction in the first book. While always a terrific listening experience, it is the narration of Barbara Rosenblat's talented use of foreign accents which helps to identify each charactors individuality.
