I love how many of her triumphs and struggles resonate with me. One thing I love the most is how her mother taught her at a young age how to discipline herself with time, by teaching her how to set up and manœuvre an alarm clock. That in fact is a powerful life tools a parent can give a his child. It gives a child a sense of control over her time this control over her life, in becoming who that are created to be. It all done in time. Time is life. So knowing how to use it effectively, carefully and meaningfully is crucial for our becoming, our life.

I have been in the United states of America for 9 years now. I always wondered why it is so difficult to truly connect with people. Now I know why. When we are vulnerable, people can really relate and connect with us. Empathy # Sympathy.

The story is inspiring. However, not doing anything about her dangerous, abusive brother I can not accept. It pains listening to her describing over and over how his brother violently abused her and nobody did anything, even at the end.

This will change your prayers

This book gives a different perspective on prayer. Very inspiring. Ask like a child. I learned to make prayer cards. Pray with a Bible verse corresponding to whatever I am asking God. Be in the look of God weaving a story for an answer to my prayers. it's Beautiful.
