Historia
Eight-year-old Brooklyn Mercer has gone missing. And as accustomed as FBI agents Eliza Sterling and Brandon Eddison are to such harrowing cases, this one has struck a nerve. It marks the anniversary of the disappearance of Eddison’s own little sister. Disturbing, too, is the girl’s resemblance to Eliza - so uncanny they could be mother and daughter. With Eddison’s unsettled past rising again with rage and pain, Eliza is determined to solve this case at any cost. But the closer she looks, the more reluctant she is to divulge to her increasingly shaken partner what she finds.

Historia
In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir. A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and now grieved. Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, lay in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them.

Poignant and heartfelt

This was a wonderful telling of the story of the Princess of Rock and Roll. Her daughter did an amazing job and hearing Lisa’s voice was a wonderful addition.

Historia
Tom Felton’s adolescence was anything but ordinary. His early rise to fame in beloved films like The Borrowers catapulted him into the limelight, but nothing could prepare him for what was to come after he landed the iconic role of the Draco Malfoy, the bleached blonde villain of the Harry Potter movies. For the next ten years, he was at the center of a huge pop culture phenomenon and yet, in between filming, he would go back to being a normal teenager trying to fit into a normal school. Speaking with great candor and his signature humor, Tom shares his experience.

I loved hearing from the other side of the curtain and learning about Tom more. This is a must read for any Potterhead, no matter the house you were sorted to.

Jill and Derick knew a normal life wasn’t possible for them. As a star on the popular TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, Jill grew up in front of viewers who were fascinated by her family’s way of life. She was the responsible, second daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle’s nineteen kids; always with a baby on her hip and happy to wear the modest ankle-length dresses with throat-high necklines.

Honest and heartfelt
Revisado: 09-19-23
This book was honest and gut wrenching at times but was a clear look inside the family that we have all watched. I would definitely recommend.

Historia
Rachel Hollis has seen it too often: women not living into their full potential. They feel a tugging on their hearts for something more, but they’re afraid of embarrassment, of falling short of perfection, of not being enough. In Girl, Stop Apologizing, number-one New York Times best-selling author and founder of a multimillion-dollar media company, Rachel Hollis sounds a wake-up call. She knows that many women have been taught to define themselves in light of other people - whether as wife, mother, daughter, or employee....

Revisado: 03-08-19
Sometimes you need a good sit down with a friend to help you get yourself together and set some goals. That is what Girl, Stop Apologizing is!
Rachel is real and honest in this book and is like that friend helping you set and reach goals. I sat and listened to this in one night and bought the book too. It’s like she’s right there urging you on. A refreshingly honest look at how we can all be the best person we are meant to be!

There is nothing more wonderful than a mother's love. There is also nothing more annoying. Who else can proudly insist that you're perfect while simultaneously making you question every career, fashion, and relationship decision you have ever made?

Loved it all!
Revisado: 04-28-16
When I started looking at buying this book I had the decision whether to buy a Kindle copy or the Audible copy. I am so glad that I bought the Audible copy! Getting to hear Kate and her mother read this made the experience so much more rich and telling than it would've been seeing the words in m black-and-white. I would fully recommend this book to anybody who is wanting to have a few laughs.
