A Twist to the Plot!

I love Simon Prebble’s voice to distinguish the many different characters. He makes listening such a pleasure.
Loved the plot. No cell phones or electronics. Rutledge must live by his logic and wits to solve a crime. The plot, again, was a wonderful twist at the end. I fully enjoyed this novel.

Loved this post Civil War story into the New West! Rand and Rachel had an interesting story to tell separately. Many side characters had great stories. Wish there was a continuation book of their lives and how Rachel’s sons grow up to meet young women to marry. A Colorado Listener

Juanita McMahon did an excellent job of changing her voice for each character.
I won’t tell you the plot. You will have to listen to this marvelous book to find out for yourself about what is the Essex Serpent!
