I've been studying in the sacred intimacy/tantra area for the past 5-6 years, and have to say this book would have to be in the top 3 books I've read, and the first that has genuinely really stood out from the rest for me. Having read books by David Deida, John Wineland, Diana Richardson, and others, this offered me so much more and deepened my understanding in concepts that I thought I had an understanding of, but now realise I was only scratching the surface.

The text itself presents a beautiful mix of explanation, instruction, practices, case studies and examples from the authors' own lives that help really bring this work alive. I've practiced some of the exercises with my partner and can confirm that they are as potent as the authors illustrate in the case studies. Of course, this will be different for everyone, but I'm sure no-one would walk away without feeling as though they've touched a new level of depth in their relationship and/or within themselves.

One of the important things I noted with this book as well is that quite often, in reading books around this kind of work, it feels as though the authors are living some kind of blessed, perfect life where they have little to no issues with their partners, and have all the time in the world just to indulge in esoteric practice. This is the first book that I've read where it feels as though you're with teachers who also live in the real world and have managed to create something special, whilst also dealing with all of life's ups and downs. And this information is *raw* as well. It doesn't feel sugar-coated or sanitised for appearances. There are deeply heart-breaking moments as well as moments of deep passion (and be warned: some of this is definitely NSFW).

Finally, the reason I felt compelled to write this review though is that this book is perfect for the audiobook medium. Hearing Justin and Londin read different sections, and bring some of the scenes in which they're both together to life creates such a compelling experience as an audiobook, I can't recommend it enough. Although I do have the printed book as well, and would still highly recommend it, the audiobook is just on another level.

If you're into reading books on this subject, then definitely pick this one up. I genuinely believe that anyone who reads it, does the practices and sticks to them, their lives and relationships will only get better. Honestly life-changing.

I’m a few days in now without having has sugar, and it really feels like it’s lost its appeal. Hopefully it works long term.

Neville is very important as a teacher, but unfortunately, because these are his last lectures, which I assume he delivered to different audiences each time, it's often the same story and same lessons over and over again. It could have been reduced in time, or there could have been a broader range of lectures. I'm not a huge fan of Horowitz's delivery either, unfortunately. He seems to be a real fan of Neville's, having written books on similar subjects himself, but he's not a professional reader, and that becomes obvious as you listen to him.
