Good for you, Stephen King

I can’t say that I am surprised about the mixed reviews for this book. It was a brief thing to do and necessary. How could a writer living through the election? The hate crimes in the pandemic not include them in a book written during that time. Writing reflects the culture and Stephen king has always written about hate, how it insidiously invades our every day life and my left unchecked becomes evil. I enjoyed this book, I enjoyed the narration, and I applaud Stephen King. As much as we would all like to forget the time, we’re even watching a movie or people shook hands or hugs made you shutter, and you were tempted to turn off social media because of the heat there, history is meant to be remembered so that we might learn from it.

Despite the genre, Dean Koontz’s novels always manage to contain a message full of hope and to demonstrate the power of good versus evil. This one does the same with interesting likable characters and lots of action.

Don’t love the narration

Despite technical issues, the writing is lovely, but perhaps
the author should’ve chosen another to narrate. There’s some thing missing in the telling of the story.

Couldn’t put it downit down

In his other books, Crouch makes us aware of the consequences of losing our humanity in the face of violence or change. In this story, the main character sacrifices his humanity for the greater good. Or, has he demonstrated that he’s holding onto his humanity by becoming a little more than human.
