Loved it all. Well written, great story characters, awesome adventure, unbelievable narration. Highly recommend all of Michaels audio books that are narrated by Tim.

You almost lost me

I have listened to, and thoroughly enjoyed, most of Michaels books. The trip through the underworld almost lost me though. It seemed like a complete waste of time and money and i was barely able to get to the end of Age of Death. Farilane was great and I pre-ordered the next book. Thank you for getting back to an enjoyable tale of adventure. Narrator, as always, was amazing!

Disappointing

It feels like this book is just a money grab. The story is once again left hanging, incomplete. I found the whole book tedious and boring. Tim Reynolds did a great job as usual but this story really didn’t give him much to work with. Such a shame, i have been a huge fan for all of MJS books up until now.

Very similar to Riyira series

There are many similarities to the Riyira series. I loved that series so was happy to continue along the very familiar path with new characters who closely resembled the ones I had grown very fond of. Reynolds is my favourite narrator. Looking forward to book 2 next summer. 😊

A fantastic adventure with my favorite narrator

This book was a great story with excellent character development. I gave it 4 stars instead of five because in the last quarter of the book Renshaw carries on a little too much about the boys abuse and his eventual resolution of the feelings created by it. It feels like he is trying to get an evangelical message out. It was surprising, distracting, and didn't feel like it fit with the science fiction style. I will get the next book when it comes out because it was a great, well told adventure and I love the narrator!!
