Historia
The Courage to Be Disliked, already an enormous best seller in Asia with more than 3.5 million copies sold, demonstrates how to unlock the power within yourself to be the person you truly want to be. Using the theories of Alfred Adler, one of the three giants of 20th-century psychology, The Courage to Be Disliked follows an illuminating conversation between a philosopher and a young man. The philosopher explains to his pupil how each of us is able to determine our own life, free from the shackles of past experiences, doubts, and the expectations of others.

Good message. Annoying narration by one of the characters.

The young man’s tone was annoying. He sounded more like a brat than a seeker.

The man behind some of the greatest political changes of the last decade, David Axelrod has devoted a lifetime to questioning political certainties and daring to bring fresh thinking into the political landscape. If you could sum up Believer in three words, what would they be?

What was one of the most memorable moments of Believer?
Chicago reporter days and run in with first female mayor.
What aspect of David Axelrod’s performance would you have changed?
There are periods where it sounds like he's tired of reading but pushing along to make a deadline.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Stories of his family (daughter sons wife), the sincerity and passion come through -piercing.
