this series is frankly the most amazing story, braiding fantasy, with colonialism concepts and heart achingly vivid experiences of loss and love as it parallels indigenous history just enough to bring me to sobs and moments or pure joy and hope for my people's future in equal measure...so glad I found this book!

a worth while read

I am so glad I got this one! it was a little difficult for me to get into but honestly I think that was more due to my schedule and not being able to sit with it and engage for more then a few minutes at a time when I started reading this one.
once I did let the story take me, wow..I cannot wait for the next one! well written, well read, the characters are well rounded and the narrator does an excellent job bringing them to life!

I was seriously afraid I was not going to be able to find a good book ever again… it had been so long since I found a book that I enjoyed that I have started to re-read old books for the 5th 6 7th times LOL. This series is so worth it. I'm on book 3 and I cannot wait for the next book to come out. I definitely recommend this series a 1000%.
The narrator does a phenomenal job with the different characters voices, character development...and the story line is beautifully done!
The relationships between the dragons And the riders is so well thought out and well written that I actually cried when they cried and found joy when they did! It's been a long time since I found such an amazing book.

This was a great book this is a great series. I have not found one that I appreciate since Robin hobb's Fitz and the fool books… it's been a long wait to find 1 I enjoy and this series is epic
