I had to stop listening to this and will request the return of my 1 credit. There was so much self congratulation layered in with romanticizing self induced tragedy and poor choices with little accountability . I did not find the self reflection genuine and after awhile got tired of his voice. I usually love memoirs and autobiographies , but not this one, not at all.

The Kardashians of the medieval era!

AWESOME! Inspiring! A keeper!

Once you listen to Matthew McConaughey reading his own book you cannot imagine taking it in any other way. He makes you laugh out loud and cry and he leaves you with an awe-inspiring desire to be a better person and live your best life! I highly recommend this read! it's a keeper!

I have already recommended this book to all my close friends who are also on the quest to bettering themselves and alwaus seeking enlightenment and wisdom. Awesome read and very entertaining and loved hearing each interviwed person express their learning in their own voice. This was put together so well so you can take everything in bite by bite and digest it easily! Listen to it now! :)

Excellent and entertaining! I couldnt wait to see how the story would end! Heart warming and interesting, and imaginative! I suppose this could be a childrens book but loved how much I enjoyed it as an adult. it made me reminise about a time when my mom would read us wonderful stories at bed time. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend this read! also made me want to find more books by the same author!

What a stunning trasparent telling of her own life

What an absolute stunning and transparent view into Sally Fields life. I was entertained and interested the entire time. She truly has a gift for writing and has such a beautiful way of painting a picture for you so that you feel you can "see" what she is saying...and also a wonderful way of evoking feeling and response. Many times throughout the story I was covered in chills, many times I wanted to reach into the story and rescue and save her....and in the end, she had me sobbing crying with such touching closure. I was so honored to have such insight into a womans life that I have admired so much over the years. It just goes to show that no matter how famous you are, you have struggle and strife and misunderstandings just like the rest of us. I also really appreciated the fact that Sally shared the struggles of her mind and her thinking throughout her life . The struggle to believe that she was a woman of value or worth despite all the accomplisjments she made. She shows us the journey her life took and the reality and evolution of her mind...and not until late in life did she get the closure she so desperately was looking for. This book touched my life. I am so impressed with Sally and feel so very fortuate to have had her read her story to me with her own voice.

the sound effects and performances are pretty awesome and it's great to hear Mulder and scully's voices again I highly recommend this it's very entertaining and well done!!
