Historia
The complete texts of the documents that tell the story of the clashes and compromises that gave birth to the Unites States of America. Should the members of the government be elected by direct vote of the people? Should the government be headed by a single executive, and how powerful should that executive be? Should immigrants be allowed into the United States? How should judges be appointed? What human rights should be safe from government infringement? In 1787, these important questions and others were raised as the states debated the merits of the proposed Constitution.

Stunning to listen to these prescient ideas & warnings, and to see how we were gaslit by many of our founding fathers.

Outstanding thesis, great research, very well written book.
Recording needs way better editing— multiple bloopers that never got spliced out. Several words mispronounced.

Historia
Our current monetary system is broken. Inflation is rampant, our savings are being devalued, and it seems there is no hope for a solution. Fiat money is robbing us and our neighbors of our most valuable commodity - time. As Christians, we are called to love our neighbors, but how can we do that when the money we use is contributing to a system that is stealing from them? It may seem unconventional, but Bitcoin offers a solution to this problem. The Bible calls for a just and equal monetary system, free of fraud and deception - and Bitcoin fits the bill.

Performed by an incredible array of the 20th century’s greatest actors, Marlowe alumni including Ian McKellen, Diana Rigg, Derek Jacobi and Prunella Scales can be heard in these recordings.

Performance is great. But SCENES ARE ALL OUT OF ORDER for plays, and there is no way to manually select acts & scenes in order to override and listen in correct sequence.
Only buy this if you don’t mind listening to these plays non-sequentially, with scenes all jumbled up!

I Wish Everyone Would Read This Book
Revisado: 08-13-18
A wonderful, inspiring, insightful, book that will make you want to never stop growing as a human being. I know that his critics deeply dislike him, and misquote him, but like all narratives his topics are far deeper then “us versus them”. The book is so rich and full of thought provoking ideas, that it can easily be read a couple of times for additional insights missed the first time around.

Historia
It's just a small story really, about, among other things, a girl, some words, an accordionist, some fanatical Germans, a Jewish fist-fighter, and quite a lot of thievery. Set during World War II in Germany, Markus Zusak's groundbreaking new novel is the story of Liesel Meminger, a foster girl living outside of Munich. Liesel scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can't resist: books.

Amazing
Revisado: 04-13-18
Where does The Book Thief rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Top 10
Who was your favorite character and why?
Rudy Steiner— the innocence and perseverance of “a boy who loves you.” Tragic, wonderful, sweet, redeeming, engaging.
What does Allan Corduner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The accent! The characters! Audiobook was better than silent reading in my head.
Who was the most memorable character of The Book Thief and why?
Rosa Huberman. You discover how deeply loving, loyal, GOOD and funny this horrible woman is.
Any additional comments?
The book grows on you. The journey and the symbolism of the books that are stolen, mirroring this innocent girl’s nightmare (with Heaven crashing through). Even the character of Death has a heart.
