I love these mystery novels by Karen Baugh Menuhin. She is an excellent mystery writer and I can’t wait for the next novel to come out. Great choice of narrators. Credit goes to Zoe Markham also.

Historia
There's a damsel in distress and accusations of attempted murder flying around, but it's not in the comfortable confines of the English countryside; it's in the very distant city of Damascus. Lennox must go and investigate, although he's not too keen on exotic locations, and his old retainer Greggs is distinctly averse to the very idea. Nevertheless, ex-Chief Inspector Swift persuades them, and they reach the ancient city to discover a movie crew, a spy, and a couple of mysterious ladies.

Times are changing in Pickax, and it all makes for some newsworthy notes for the "Qwill Pen". A new senior center is in the works, and a frisky production of Cats is set to delight Moose County residents, human and feline alike. Polly Duncan is off to Paris, momentarily leaving Qwill without a companion for his apple-barn concerts, and The Librarians Who Lunch are getting read to put on a show of their spectacular Art Hats to help unite Pickax with its Lockmaster County neighbors.

Great Improvement Narration & Story Line
Revisado: 09-02-23
Great narration & presentation of story. This one ends a little bit sadder with the burning of the barn, and Polly’s departure to Paris. The novel after this is not available for me to read, purchase only which is fine. Now it wants me to know what happen next. Many thanks to the writer who will actually never see this but thank you for making it available for us to read.

Narration Lacks Attraction
Revisado: 08-29-23
It’s a fairly good story; however the voice narration seriously lack’s attraction & find very disappointing. George Guidall does a lousy female & cat impression & found rather irritating. 😒 Dick Van Patten did a much better voice impression in those areas but overall lacked enthusiasm. Because of it I may not continue with the Lillian Braun series even though I love cats!😸 How disappointing!

It began as a problem in one of Holmes' beloved beehives, led to a murderous cult, and ended - or so they'd hoped - with a daring escape from a sacrificial altar. Instead, Mary Russell and her husband, Sherlock Holmes, have stirred the wrath and the limitless resources of those they've thwarted. Now they are separated and on the run, wanted by the police and pursued across the continent by a ruthless enemy with powerful connections.
