Enjoyable story line
Revisado: 08-05-24
I came across this book by searching for books read by Scott Brick. I’m a huge Clive Cussler fan and Scott narrates most of them. I’ll stay because I found that Michael can tell a great story with just the right amount of details.
I’m sure that most readers of fiction with a hint of military and a hint of intelligent life beyond our world will enjoy just as much as I did.

Historia
In October 1943, a U.S. destroyer sailed out of Philadelphia and supposedly vanished, the result of a Navy experiment with electromagnetic radiation. The story was considered a hoax - but now Juan Cabrillo and his Oregon colleagues aren't so sure. There is talk of a new weapon soon to be auctioned, something very dangerous to America's interests, and the rumors link it to the great inventor Nikola Tesla, who was working with the Navy when he died in 1943. Was he responsible for the experiment? Are his notes in the hands of enemies?

Always enjoy these books
Revisado: 11-24-21
As usual the story line of Clive’s books just a hint of history and a good amount of fiction with several parallels all coming to successful ending.
The Oregon Files have been a great series. Clive will be missed.

I’m a huge fan of Cline’s

But this store lacked the punch I have come to expect. Given the details that Clive is known for and expects and normally includes I found the book dry.

Very enjoyable
Revisado: 11-16-20
A classic set up as a play. Although I enjoy the word of Jules Verne this story set more as a play was very enjoyable. Like most good books I couldn’t be torn away.
