Enjoyable and clever

The narrator is very good and he did a great job with the variety of accents of the many characters. The one criticism, my husband and I have is that there were so many characters that it was hard to keep up with who many of characters were!

HELP DURING TRIALS

I downloaded this book thinking it would something light to read on the plane as we flew to the Greek Island of Santorini. As it happened I slept much of the flight. Early in the morning of our fourth day I fell and broke 5 ribs and and partially collapsed my lung. After 5 days in the Hospital we stayed in a hotel for 4 weeks until I could safely fly home. I was in a great deal of pain and feeling homesick During that time I listened to Anxious for Nothing three times. The book is so uplifting and Lucado expresses the issue in a simple yet profound manner. He was never preachy and was often humorous and always encouraging! I would recommend this book to anyone! Even those who are not particularly dealing with stress or anxiety will gain a new prospective on life in general. I am so glad that I had this book to help me through a really difficult time!!

A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

This is the worst book, by far that I have read of John Grisham! The writing was thoroughly amateur – it was as though he had phoned it in.There was not one character that I found sympathetic. The main characters preyed on those who were vulnerable and trusted them for help! I kept hoping the authorities would arrest them and they would receive what they deserved. In addition to the poor writing the delivery by the reader was boring. I probably would have stopped listening halfway through if it hadn’t been that my husband wanted to see how it would end! We were both sorely disappointed – no justice for anyone!

Distasteful

The subject matter was crude and distasteful-I am sure there are others who would find it otherwise so I will leave this book to them. The narration was probably fine but I didn’t notice because I turned the it off in a very short time! This is the first book that I chose that turned out poorly!! All other books I have gotten have been entertaining & enjoyable! I shall try to be more conscientious with future purchases!
