my gentles,
this book was friggin amazing. as a student of history this book was fantastic. I actually found myself googling along and researching the battles and other historical figures as the story progressed. it's good enough that I am not going to wait for a credit but I'm going to buy the series outright.
and good God the narrator!? superb. he had my heart thumping and kept me awake bc I couldn't stop listening. what a story and what a story so well told.

refreshing
Revisado: 08-03-21
and this is a pretty good book. something quite refreshing about it. maybe it was because it took elements from Eastern European folklore? I don't think that is something I have seen in the last several fantasy books I listened to. also the narrative performance was outstanding and also seem to take accents from Eastern European ethnic groups. this only lended to the field of the story. overall great book. also I'm dictating this to my phone so apologies to all the grammar fiends out there. feel free to go
