Historia
In the future, the world is at war. For the last decade, King Lazuli of the Eastern Empire has systematically taken over the world. No one knows much about him other than a series of impossible facts: he cannot die, he has not aged since the conflict began, and he wants to rule the world. All Serenity Freeman has known is bloodshed. War has taken away her mother, her home, her safety. As the future emissary of the Western United Nations, the last autonomous region of the globe, she is responsible for forging alliances where she can.

Narrator fits the character
Revisado: 03-04-19
A lot of reviews are unhappy with the narrator, but she fits the character. Serenity has grown up in a world where showing emotion is a dangerous thing, so she doesn’t know how to express it. The narrators for the other series this author writes are really expressive and more of a performance. I can see how people are unhappy with the pauses and things, but I didn’t mind it so much when I put the context of the book into consideration.

Historia
Librarian turned sorcerer. Sorcerer turned hero. Hero turned puppet. The Solaris Empire found victory in the North and, at the cost of her heart and her innocence, Vhalla Yarl has earned her freedom. But the true fight is only beginning as the secret forces that have been lurking in the shadows, tugging at the strings of Vhalla's fate, finally come to light. Nowhere is safe, and Vhalla must tread carefully or else she'll fall into the waiting arms of her greatest foe. Or former lover.

Narrator sucks
Revisado: 03-04-19
In any other situation she would be wonderful, but she obviously didn’t listen to the three books before. She pronounces Vhalla’s name vAL-lA instead of “Vah-la” and Aldrick’s name became “Al-drick”. The accent for the west became Russian for some reason.
Honestly, I really hate this recording. The narrator herself would be fine if she actually had bothered listening to the others to learn how the accents and names went.
