Absolutely Hilarious and Incredibly Entertaining
Revisado: 05-09-22
This show nails it on every front. It’s incredibly well produced and edited, it’s exciting, tense, hilarious, and poignant all at the same time. Easily one of my favorite podcasts of all time and completely crushes the competition in its genre.

Historia
The Girl of Sugar Beach is the most watched documentary in television history - a riveting, true-life mystery that unfolds over 12 weeks and centers on a fascinating question: Did Grace Sebold murder her boyfriend, Julian, while on a Spring Break vacation, or is she a victim of circumstance and poor police work? Grace has spent the last 10 years in a St. Lucian prison, and reaches out to filmmaker Sidney Ryan in a last, desperate attempt to prove her innocence. As Sidney begins researching, she uncovers issues that were all overlooked during the original investigation.

Explodes in fiery disaster at the finish line
Revisado: 06-30-20
Seriously? This book was great for literally 10/11ths of its duration and then proceeds to destroy everything right at the finish in the most forced, contrived, implausible and idiotic denouement of all time. You spend the last 30 minutes of this book just repeating to yourself “There’s no freaking way.”
Why? Why have you done this Charlie Donlea? I want all of my time and money and anger back. You are a murderer of decent literature, my audible credit, and ten and a half hours of my life.

So bad it makes me angry
Revisado: 06-26-20
Save your time, money, and/or credits.
I hated this book on so many levels. First of all, to claim it is “for fans of the Stormlight Archive” is just misleading advertising. This has nothing in common with the SA. Not in quality, content, or entertainment value.
The title for this book should have been “The Emotional Girl Who Can’t Control Herself and Ruins Everyone’s Lives” because that’s the actual content of this novel. The only heavy handed plot device that gets used over and over and over, until in the last hour or so, some power armor finally shows up. Any halfway decent editor should have pointed out that all these episodes were actually the same episode repeated with slight variations and that the entire book could have been condensed into the first third and then you could have had two-thirds of actual armored sainting. Then it could have been a halfway decent book that didn’t leave your readers wanting to punch everything.
I would like to rate the performance higher, but every time she pronounced the main character’s name, Heloise, as “Hell-wahz,” I wanted to lose my mind. The actual narration and acting wasn’t bad but this and some bad production - audio fragments, mic bumps? Bad editing - gives the performance a zero as well.
This book is garbage.

This is a tale of sorrow, a tale of survival, a tale of one man's search for meaning in his universe, and how that search, and the indomitable will that drove it, gave birth to a legend.

Period. Nick Podehl is perfect. George R. R. Martin wishes he was this good. As far as pure writing ability goes, down to the sentence level, Patrick Rothfuss is probably the best fantasy writer of all time.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Great first effort
Revisado: 02-18-15
A very enjoyable first novel from newcomer Chris Colfer. Has a heavy Chronicles of Narnia influence but it shines most with its sense of humor. Great performance also, though the narrator seems to have a bit of trouble with male voices.
A lot of fun.

Pretty all right. Didn't really pull me in though. I actually thought the mystery side of the story did better without the supernatural aspect. But Still, a great performance by one of the best in the biz.

Historia
Feed is an electrifying and critically acclaimed novel of a world a half-step from our own that the New York Times calls “Astonishing” a novel of zombies, geeks, politics, social media, and the virus that runs through them all - from New York Times best seller Mira Grant. The year was 2014. We had cured cancer. We had beat the common cold. But in doing so we created something new, something terrible that no one could stop. The infection spread, virus blocks taking over bodies and minds with one, unstoppable command: Feed.

Decent political thriller with zombies
Revisado: 02-11-15
I'm not really sure why this book had zombies in it. Maybe they're a metaphor for the voters. Mostly they're just a catalysts I get things moving for when the plot starts to drag. The writer really wanted to write a political thriller with heroic, incorruptible newsmen of old and decided to through some zombies in for giggles. It's pretty well written, definitely not the worst I've read by far, but a little too much politicking and editorializing to be really great. As far as it being "Anti-Christian" I wouldn't exactly say that but it's definitely not pro-Christian, considering that most of the Christian characters here are either ridiculous caricatures and/or terrorists

Lame story. Lame two dimensional characters. Lame writing made worse by a pretty bad reading performance. Though you might like it if you like stupid things and dislike not stupid things
