Historia
Shots rang out in Savannah's grandest mansion in the misty, early morning hours of May 2, 1981. Was it murder or self-defense? For nearly a decade, the shooting and its aftermath reverberated throughout this hauntingly beautiful city of moss-hung oaks and shaded squares. John Berendt's sharply observed, suspenseful, and witty narrative flows like a thoroughly engrossing novel, and yet it is a work of nonfiction.

Historia
We pile on “to-dos” but don’t consider “stop-doings”. We create incentives for good behavior, but don’t get rid of obstacles to it. We collect new-and-improved ideas, but don’t prune the outdated ones. Every day, across challenges big and small, we neglect a basic way to make things better: We don’t subtract. Leidy Klotz’s pioneering research shows why.

subtract
Revisado: 01-17-24
I was interested in the beginning. Then it just became an onslaught of the same thing over and over again. subtract subtract subtract. I was hoping that it would give you some constructive ways to subtract from everyday life, but was just a bunch of case studies and Ezra.

But behind it all, there is an even more fundamental driver: Food. In Animal, Vegetable, Junk, trusted food authority Mark Bittman offers a panoramic view of how the frenzy for food has driven human history to some of its most catastrophic moments.

It was a fantastic book. I've been following Shaun King for a while and they make a lot of the same points. Loved the historical inoformation. I liked the part at the end the most where he dug into the sayings "black don't crack" and "ashy". Also go EAGLES!! :)
