Historia
Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

Historia
Two words: the bullet. That's all it takes to shatter her life. Caroline Cashion is beautiful, intelligent, a professor of French literature. But in a split second, everything she's known is proved to be a lie. A single bullet, gracefully tapered at one end, is found lodged at the base of her skull. Caroline is stunned. It makes no sense: She has never been shot. She has no entry wound, no scar. Then, over the course of one awful evening, she learns the truth.

It completely got my attention. It sometimes took a while to get to the point but overall I really enjoyed it. It ended well too, tying off the loose ends.

Historia
On the first day of her new job, Harris is called to the scene of a brutal murder at the heart of Surrey society. A shocking crime, with a meticulous killer: the victim’s eyes have been removed and the body drained of blood, with no forensic evidence left at the scene. Her boss insists it must be the return of a killer who escaped justice several years ago, leaving a trail of bloody ritualistic killings. Harris isn’t so sure: both sets of victims have had their eyes removed, but other details are significantly different.

drags

it's long . Everytime I was about to turn it off because I was bored with the story there would a twist that would keep me interested. As much as I love this genre it couldn't completely captivate me.

Historia
Goldengrove’s towers and twisted chimneys rose at the very edge of the peaceful Weald, a stone’s throw from the poisonous marshes and merciless waters of Rye Bay. Young Tabby Palethorp had been running wild there, ever since her mother grew too ill to leave her room. I was the perfect choice to give Tabby a good English education: thoroughly respectable and far too plain to tempt her lonely father, Sir Kit, to indiscretion. I knew better than to trust my new employer with the truth about my past. But knowing better couldn’t stop me from yearning for impossible things.

snooze
Revisado: 09-01-22
Parts were super interesting. We never really find out the truth of what was truly going on. Most parts were insanely boring. The main character seemed weak and easily swayed . I only listened to the end because I had already invested a lot of time in it already, hoping it would get more interesting.

good read
Revisado: 05-26-22
Each book keeps you intrigued. They have a sense of humor that you wouldn't expect. Constant twists and turns. The concept of the only being awake for 1 hr a day is a nice and different approach especially coming from that person's perspective most of the time. I cannot wait for the 6th book to be released!

Revisado: 01-20-22
I listened to this purely out of wanting to know the outcome. Iveys character made me not care for it.. and there are Soo many loose ends. Overall the series is interesting but needs a new ending and just more information about the main characters that the author didn't mention.
