Historia
In Parenting Without Regret, Jimmy and Laura Seibert share their story of how God led them to parent with intentionality. They touch on topics that are a common struggle among parents: How do we help our children overcome their insecurities? How do we deal with the challenges of our culture and protect our kids' purity? How do we prepare them for the future? How do we help them develop their own relationship with God and live life on mission?

A Every-Day Parenting Manual
Revisado: 05-15-19
Listening to this book was a life-changing experience. Jimmy and Laura speak from a deep place of humility. I kept thinking, "Wow, I wish that I would have learned this when I was growing up" or "I need to write ever single word of this down." They both share from their perspectives, and they use scriptures that provide a foundation for the parenting tactics that they implement. They also feature inserts from their kids (some of which moved me to tears) that allows listeners to hear the perspective from the child's point of few. I wish I would have read this before having our first child. It answers a lot of the practical questions I've been asking and provides insight to things I hadn't even thought of.
I find that my peers are searching for an older generation to mentor them through parenting in a life-on-life type of scenario. While that scenario would be great, it's not always readily available. However, after reading this book, I feel like Jimmy and Laura have personally mentored my husband and I and have forever impacted and changed the trajectory of our family. This book has really helped us realign our focus on what really matters, Jesus.
Perhaps, one of my favorite things about this book is the practical wisdom that they share. From family vacations to goal setting, the wisdom that they bring to every-day parenting (all grounded in scripture) is the key info that I will keep coming back to to reference throughout different seasons of our lives. It felt that is was a bit of a parenting manual, yet consistently pointed the reader to rely on and seek first, Jesus.

Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.
