Historia
It’s been five years since Andi McDermott lost her husband, and she's finally starting to feel like herself again, ready to live fully—she’s even started dating again. But when her holiday plans with her stepson and his fiancée fall through, she refuses to spend another Christmas alone while everyone is celebrating with their families. Impulsively, she decides to go up to her cabin in Lake Arrowhead, a place she used to love to visit but hadn’t gone to in years, not since the feud started between her husband and their nearest neighbor.

Boring
Revisado: 04-04-24
Overall the book was fine and not a waste of my time, but there was no true climax of the story and the chemistry between the main characters was non-existent. As I said, it wasn't awful but it isn't something I can't say I liked either.

Sex. Logan Mitchell loves it, and ever since he realized his raw sexual appeal at a young age, he has had no problem using it to his advantage. Men and women alike fall into his bed - after all, Logan is not one to discriminate. He lives by one motto - if something interests you, why not just take a chance and try? And he wants to try Tate Morrison.

Possibly the worst narrator ever
Revisado: 08-16-23
I loved the story and wish it would have been a better narrator. I feel like I would have gotten so much more from the story and connected better with the characters had I not been so irritated by the melodramatic delivery. It's a bummer because I won't continue the series on Audible because they are all done by the same narrator. It's a beautiful story so I would definitely recommend reading the book, but I don't recommend listening because it loses something.

Historia
From a very young age, Chloe Pierce was trained to look after the ones she loved. And she was trained by the best. But when the man who looked after her was no longer there, Chloe is cast adrift - just as the very foundation of her life crumbled to pieces. Then she runs into tall, lanky, unpretentious Judge Oakley, her exact opposite. She shops. He hikes. She drinks pink ladies. He drinks beer. She’s a city girl. He’s a mountain guy. Obviously, this means they have a blowout fight upon meeting. Their second encounter doesn’t go a lot better.

Stella Bloom should narrative ALL audiobooks!
Revisado: 09-20-21
Kristen Ashley weaves another beautiful story. You can't help but feel for her characters and look forward to their outcome. Stella Bloom is an amazing narrator. She is a vocal chameleon and manages to translate each personality in the tone of her voice.

Historia
From the hero whistleblower of the infamous Theranos scam, Thicker than Water is a look at never-before-revealed details behind closed doors at the company, revealing a cautionary tale of corporate bullying, gaslighting, ego, and wealth running amok in Silicon Valley. Tyler Shultz had been in the workforce for less than a year when he emailed Elizabeth Holmes, his employer and the CEO and founder of Theranos, with concerns that the company’s lab practices were faulty, ignored quality control, and were potentially dangerous to patients.

Terrible narration
Revisado: 06-18-21
I realize it was HIS story that he was telling but the immature giggling throughout the telling was very distracting and took away some of the legitimacy. It should have been narrated by someone not linked to the story who wouldn't have reactions to the retelling like he did.

Historia
For a time, many years ago, love had grown, love was made, and in the end ... love was lost. The decision to leave had been the worst mistake Shelby Dawson could have ever made. However, at the time--ten years ago--she felt her secret needed to stay hidden, even if it broke her heart and the heart of the man she loved. Back then, he was all hers and she was all his, but now things have changed and he isn't the same guy she knew.

Juvenile and bad reader
Revisado: 09-26-18
The conversations were juvenile at best and the reader sounded like a teeny bopper which only made matter worse. Stopped listening after 3 chapters. The characters are supposed to be late 20s professional people, but their conversations caused bad high school flashbacks.
