Depressing
Revisado: 01-23-25
How "Hollywood" leaves the viewer with romantic memories of this "Title" is so wrong. The true basics of this story is haunting and sad. Tormented souls that terrorize the living, the tortured character (Heathcliff) that inflicts fear and pain on those he comes into contact with. Hollywood should have made this a haunted movie instead.

Narrative is Horrible
Revisado: 10-07-23
I am a Hercule Poirot fan! And All the Narrator's manage to capture the character and take you on the journey. Although I am sure this Narrator's good at most stories her performance of Poirot was Horrible! I'm so sorry, but she ruined the story and Poirot she couldn't convince. I couldn't get pass that!

BEAUTIFULLY NARRATED!
Revisado: 12-20-22
I have read James Harriot for many many years! I always enjoy the laughter and feeling of warmth that Harriot gives the reader. What a pleasure to be taken back to a time when he truly allows you to feel, smell, taste and see his journey. This Narrator was by far the best! My imagination is very good but this is the first time I've listened to the books! I would recommend it to be better than ones own imagination! Perfection!

Narrator Performance 👎
Revisado: 10-07-22
I could have done fine with this book, but for the male main characters voice is annoying to hear and focus on the story. I found myself cringing when it was him narrating. I just couldn't finish.

SAD & DEPRESSING
Revisado: 06-10-22
I Love John Grisham and his stories. They have been a constant joy to read or listen to. Except "Ford County" I am saddened to say, also John Grisham doing the narrative is a struggle to listen to! Again, I'm sad to say. Leave the narrative to the other guys! I'm not an expert but I am curious to why John wrote this series of stories. I will be listening to "Sparring Partner" next. I hope that it's worth my time.

As Always Wonderful
Revisado: 04-04-22
As Always I was pleased! This story was an "edge of your seat" and looking over your shoulder story! Grisham transported me to Italy, down cobbled streets, in quaint Cafe's and learning Italian. Exhilarating and Relaxing, Intense and Nail biting. I'm so glad I chose this book! The Broker! Thank you Grisham!
