Needs a professional reader

The author has an extremely distracting way of speaking where there’s a pause every 3 or 4 words and a slight “uptalk”. It was so distracting I couldn’t concentrate on the material. If you can read this with a different voice actor, do it. Otherwise skip it until you can.

I really like the characters .

The voice actor made this so much worse

They should have called this “Crap on a Cracker”….the author used that phrase no less than 20 times throughout the story and I hope to never hear it again. Also, voice actors are a personal preference so this is just my take, but I found this person really tough to listen to. Really weird cadence and delivery to the point that it was distracting.

Worth the money

Boring and implausible

I often think of really great writers who struggle to get their work published. And then there are these books, which are so bad that I have to believe the author black mailed someone into getting these into print. There is no other explanation. The premise is a really interesting idea that he somehow made boring! I could go on and on about but instead I’ll save you the headache - there are significantly better ways to spend your time rather than reading this series.
