None of them had ever met the elderly woman. The will is so odd and includes bequests that are so wildly unlikely that Gamache and the others suspect the woman must have been delusional.

Michael Lewis mines the nuggets of any issue or subject matter he tackles and presents them in a compelling manner. This story about something we rarely think about is told in a way that makes me want more. Excellent background and approach. He really does his homework.

I've read all the Mallory books and this one is par for the excellent course! No better narrator to read it, either. Barbara Rosenblatt brings everything to life. Very satisfying experience, thank you!

Mr. Alexander's near-death experience was not any more remarkable than others I've read. It was a fairly interesting story made mundane, almost painful, by his own narration of it. Stick to writing, forget reading.
