This book wrecked me! Emotions all over the place and I loved it all!! Sarah J Maas' best work in my opinion.

Reader is Gold! Story not so much...

This book was hyped up too much, and I'm very disappointed with the whole story. I wasn't drawn in like I was for the first two books. The point of view whiplash every paragraph, the (in my opinion)useless acotar crossover, all the unanswered questions that should have been answered in this book and weren't, were a few of the reasons this book just didn't fly with
me. A major let down after two really good books.

The performance was great as always. I can always count on Elizabeth Evans to provide an excellent narration! She does such a good job that i wish she could record the acotar books instead of the other readers.

Not the ending I was wishing for

The story was good and then it wasn't. It felt rushed and lacked compared to the other books in the series. I think the author tried too hard for an all around happy ending and it feels forced.
And then the narration was even blah. None of the characters had their voices and accents from the previous books and that really bothered me. The reader sounded bored the whole way thru the book.
Kinda a disappointment for waiting half a decade for the finale to this series.

Best way to listen to this series!

I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this series in a dramatized way so far. I'm impatiently waiting for the next book.
The voice actors are great! Yes, some of the sound effects are pretty corny, but all in all it was very enjoyable to listen to.

I love Martha Keyes books and I really wanted to like this one, but I just couldn't. The love story felt forced. Maybe it was because I didn't care for the main heroine in this book. I didn't care for her in the previous book either.
I had issue with the narrator. I didn't care for her reading. But what bothered me the most was how much the recording echoed. It sounded like it was recorded on a phone in a very big and empty room. It was very distracting.
I hope the next story in the series is more exciting than this one was.

Sweet and Romantic Novella

I really enjoyed this listen. I was sad to find out it was just a novella. I really like the narrator and that's how I found this book was searching for the narrator. it's definitely worth a listen!

Only downside was how the reader did the men's voices. it made them sound kinda dumb and bumbling.

Love the book...narrator hard to listen to

Love this book. My only set back was the narrator. She was very over dramatic and it took over half the book for me to finally decide she was alright.

I enjoyed listening to this book. Makes it so much easier to understand the story when you can hear it.
I didn't like how Rosamund Pike read the dialog, it was too monotone and boring. She didn't add any feeling to it. That was my only dislike.
