Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Witty, heartwarming, heartbreaking, and moving are all words to describe this book. It taught me a lot about his struggles and triumphs in a childhood that seems so familiar and yet so distant from me. I loved learning about one of my favorite comedians.

Historia
Years after the events of The House of God, the Fat Man has been given leadership over a new Future of Medicine Clinic at what is now only Man's 4th Best Hospital, and has persuaded Dr. Roy Basch and some of his intern cohorts to join him to teach a new generation of interns and residents. In a medical landscape dominated by computer screens and corrupted by money, they have one goal: to make medicine humane again.

Amazing sequel to House of God. A modern day telling of Knights of the Round Table. As a medical student this was a must read. Thank you Samuel Shem for everything you've done and I hope to hear more in the future!
