Stories are good the writer tries to hard with all the banter back and forth between characters. Way over board. Also not sure who the writer is trying to make the main person on the book, confusing characters at times. Over all worth the read.

I like series in books bit those that don't leave you hanging. A good series book should be a good book unto itself and makes you want to read next book. Not leave a story hanging to make you read next book if you want the ending.
Good story just hate the way the book ends.

What disappointed you about The Kept?
This is a very dark story, did not grab my interest or attention at any part during the story. I did listen to the whole thing but took me a long time to finish as ther is no interesting story line or character to hang on to.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Back to more traditional mystery and adventure.
What about Kate Udall’s performance did you like?
Ms Udall's performance was very good. The only thing good about this book.
