Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Andy Weir is back! Loved the Martain, love this
Revisado: 09-15-21
Andy Weir is back on his game after having a little bit of a slowdown and a let down with Artemis this with Artemis this book has it all. The science is fun the engineering is great the imagination and detail are all spot on. I don't want to give it away but there's lots of interesting things that go on and It ends beautifully.

great performance but very disappointing sequel
Revisado: 02-07-19
I loved the ending but it couldn't make up for the slow build and stumbling progression. if this has been the first in the series i would have never tried the second. I recomend the Ghost Walker book and skipping the Boneyard.

really wish they hadn't changed the narrator
Revisado: 05-29-16
Keith Baker third book of this installment of the dreaming dark was okay wasn't as strong as his first two novels. the real criticism comes in that they change the narrator in the narrator's pronunciations as well as characterizations of voices is a lot worse in my opinion. if you liked the first two novels of the dreaming dark Trilogy I would recommend slogging through this one to know the end of the story. after about an hour or 3 into the novel I was able to adjust at this pace of the novel pick pick up. mr. Colville did a great job talking about the different planes.

When a Druid lives as long as Atticus does, he’s bound to run afoul of a few vampires—make that legions of them. Even his former friend and legal counsel turned out to be a bloodsucking backstabber. Now the toothy troublemakers—led by power-mad pain-in-the-neck Theophilus—are no longer content to live undead and let live. Atticus needs to make a point—and drive it into a vampire’s heart.

Another Great Adventure
Revisado: 02-12-16
Loved it! My favorite, or at least one of my favorite part is the ending where Oberon and Orla have a "serious conversation" with Clever Girl and Atticus. The three druid characters continue to develop and become more distinct. Owen in particular is coming along nicely.

For those men tired of being...Nice Christians.
Revisado: 06-18-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, Too few men can relate to God in organized religions presentation of the Father. This is a great confirmation of what a man's heart wants and why God put it there. And better yet how the the father in a boys life is impacted by a man.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Wild at Heart?
The chapters talking about women.
What about Kelly Dolan’s performance did you like?
Good, heartfelt and real, can connect to it and not some evangelical kook.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
At times both, I have two sons I am responsible for raising into men, 2 1/2 years and 7 years.
Any additional comments?
I would also recommend reading the Dale Carnagie book, "How to win friends and influence people" or at least the " Father forgets" short by by W. Livingston Larned.
