Better ending than beginning
Revisado: 12-21-21
I found the beginning of this book to drag. I had to bring the speed up to 1.6 in order for it to keep my interest but it got better as it went along the ending was pretty good.

Inconsistent confusing storyline
Revisado: 12-15-21
Annabelle goes from Lord Darkwood making her feel wonderful offering to be his mistress, upset that he leaves her after making out with her not going further, and then is scared on her wedding night. It's inconsistent and confusing. Annabelle's character is not very well developed. This one left me feeling a
little flat.

A perfect ending to a awesome series
Revisado: 10-24-21
I wasn't sure about the narrator at first but after the first couple of chapters she brought me fully into the story, I laughed and cried and felt all the emotions of the characters in this book I thought it was very well done. I rarely enjoy the last book in the series as much as I do the first book but Nicole van did not disappoint. I love that she let you into the characters psyche and keeps the story clean, but yet you still feel the passion and love from the romance.

He's determined to escape - which would be much easier if he could stop thinking about Joanna Robbins and her unexpected request. For months, Joanna had prayed for a minister. A man to breathe life back into the abandoned church at the heart of her community. A man to assist her in fulfilling a promise to her dying mother. But just when it seems her prayers have been answered, it turns out the parson is there against his will....

Great faith based story, rushed ending
Revisado: 06-11-21
I enjoyed this book a lot. The author tends to rush her endings. She writes such a detailed wonderful story that has unexpected turns and then leaves the ending open without closure. I think she does that as part of her writing style, as it is the same in her other books, but I prefer a nice tidy ending with better closure. Still a worthwhile read that makes you think.

Sweet Romance without being vulgar
Revisado: 03-03-21
I love this author. this book was my favorite of the 3 in this series. I love the romance, that is clean, but still steamy. I really felt what the characters were going through. This is a great listen, with a great message.
