I love both of the voice actors they do such a good job and they along with the story are a great spicy adult fantasy that had me both intrigued with the storyline and loci gong the dirty talk! I just wish it was longer or the next book was out because I want to read it but also don’t want to miss out on the performance of these two in order to continue the story!

What a disappointment

Unexpectedly amazing

I was unsure about this audiobook to be honest. There were several reviews saying how boring it was and the audio sample made me not think the narrator would be good to listen too. I picked it up after the ACOTAR series since I liked Sarah’s writing. I honestly don’t know why it has gotten so much hate. I LOVED the story and wish the sequel was coming sooner! I will say the romance is really slow burn, but the mystery and plot twists really got me! The deep emotional scenes had me bawling! The middle does have less action but it serves to really show you who the characters are and show them working through their struggles which I really enjoyed reading a story where the hero overcomes the despair and depression, but shows it isn’t easy or quick and that everyone even hero’s can fall and struggle through life! I for one really appreciate this story, and hope to get teasers ASAP for the sequel!

1. This story has everything you could want in a book! You get romance, stemy scenes, action, adventure, fantasy, drama, and so much more! It all is beautifully intertwined into a story that will keep you on your toes and make you feel all the feels! I cried, got angry, and swooned. I will say that the main MC will be a love hate relationship so if you are looking for a cookie cutter romance this is not for you, but you will be pushed and pulled to cheer for him time and time again!
2. This is one of the best preformed audiobooks i have ever heard. Stella hunter flawless preforms several different male and female characters all with their own distinct voice and all sounding exactly like you would think that i forgot it was a female speaking sometimes. She doesn't just read but her tone and reactions turn it into a movie that plays in your head as you listen! I can not recommend this book and series enough!
